Brand new for 2022, the Algarve Business Awards have been launched to celebrate some of the regions best Companies, Entrepreneurs and Community Innovation Ideas.

The Awards are committed to recognising excellence in business across the Algarve, providing a source of inspiration to new Startups and Entrepreneurs but most of all showcasing the wide diversity and success of the business community.

Save the date! On November 11th 2022, the prestigious Hotel Tivoli Marina, Vilamoura will play host to a glittering Gala Awards Night to celebrate all the finalists and winners who enter this exciting and anticipated event, the first of its kind in the Algarve.

Thank you to everyone who entered The Algarve Business Awards 2022. The Judges had some big decisions to make but the results are in! Huge congratulations to all our semi-finalists and to the ones who have been selected in more than one category! We are delighted to announce that our chosen charities for the 2022 Algarve Business Awards are:

Associação Alerta de incendio Florestal /Forest fire Alert. They are a
is a non profit organisation. Their group on facebook is dedicated to information about the Bombeiros and in the event of any fires, posting information on the fire , to aid the community and the services. All of their donations go to help our Bombeiros.

Associacao Guarda Chuva, Algarve
Association Guarda Chuva is a registered charity established in 2018 by a group of local people who wanted to help their communities in different ways.
Guarda Chuva means Umbrella and given its name because under its guard, it helps a number of small organisations working together in the Algarve to support needy individuals, children, families and animal welfare.
All of the organisations registered under the charity raise awareness and vital funds through a variety of organised projects, events and also collect donations of both cash and items all of which go to support those who are most vulnerable in society.
Chaired by Caroline Langston, that charity is in its 5th year and has helped each association registered under it name raise thousands of Euros to support people and animals who live in poverty or suffered at the hands of harm and neglect.
Current associations include Support For Families, Taveira 2nd Chance and the Algarve Emporium.
Association Guarda Chuva welcome the opportunity to support other organisations who wish to raise awareness or help other good causes within their community through projects and fundraising activities and encourage anyone interested to contact them through the Facebook page Association Guarda Chuva.
